Controller and contact
Maksim Streltcov is the controller for the personal data described here. He is the publicly identified editor and operator of padel.how; this policy does not claim that a separate legal entity operates the site. For any privacy question or request, use the contact form.
Information we process
The public content site is static and has no public member accounts. A closed production forum pilot is available only to invited testers and uses forum accounts plus Google or Facebook sign-in. If you choose to use the contact form, you provide your name, email address, topic and message. FormSubmit receives those fields to deliver the message by email. Please do not send sensitive information.
Hosting and delivery providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, request time and security logs to deliver and protect the site. The published site has no local analytics or advertising script.
YouTube embeds
Some pages contain embedded YouTube videos loaded from `www.youtube-nocookie.com`. When an embedded video loads, YouTube may receive information about the request, including IP address, browser or device information, request time, referrer URL, and cookie or identifier data, depending on the browser, device and Google settings. The privacy-enhanced domain does not make the video local to padel.how. See the Google Privacy Policy for how Google describes its processing.
Why we use information and the legal bases
We process contact details with your consent or to take steps you request when you contact us. We use technical and security information for our legitimate interests in operating, securing and troubleshooting the site. We may retain or disclose information where necessary to meet a legal obligation. We do not sell contact-form information.
Sharing, retention and security
FormSubmit, hosting, CDN and email providers may process the information needed to provide their services. Linked third-party sites and providers have their own privacy policies. Messages and related correspondence are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request, maintain records, prevent abuse or meet applicable obligations. Access is limited to the editor and necessary providers. No internet service can promise absolute security.
Community and social login
The closed production forum pilot may process your display name, username, email address, the identifier supplied by Google or Facebook, avatar and profile information made available through the selected provider or added to your profile, posts and replies, and security and operational logs (including IP address, browser or device information, and session or sign-in events). We use these data to create and administer accounts, enable participation, moderate and prevent abuse, secure and troubleshoot the service, and meet legal obligations. Depending on the purpose, we rely on steps requested by you and provision of the forum service, our legitimate interests in security and moderation, legal obligations, or consent where a feature requires it. Google and Facebook process information they receive under their own terms and privacy policies; their settings and controls apply to their processing.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law and identity verification, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, or object to processing. You may request data portability where it applies, withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing, and lodge a complaint with the Latvia Data State Inspectorate. Use the contact form for requests about data controlled by padel.how. For information controlled by a third party, use that provider’s controls or contact it directly.
Data deletion
Use the forum account controls to request an export of your account data or to delete your account. If you cannot use those controls, use the contact form and provide the email address or other identifier used with the forum plus enough context to locate the request. We may request reasonable identity verification before acting.
We will delete or anonymise information we control when it is no longer needed and no legal retention duty applies, and will confirm the outcome where a reply address is available. We cannot delete data held only by Google, Facebook or another independent provider; use that provider’s controls. Limited information may remain in security records or backups until the applicable retention cycle permits deletion.
Changes
We may update this policy when the site’s data practices change. The current version is published at this URL.
